We got back from Ilocos Sur earlier than scheduled. I tried, I really tried, to rewrite my script while I was in Vigan, but there were just too many distractions, especially with a festival going on. So I opted to go home on Feb 2 after our ocular and get some real work done.
Here’s Edwin and I fooling around in Vigan (ahem, instead of working on my script).
While we were having lunch at the governor’s office, we were inspired to make studies of the animated prequel of 24k, using the characters of the governor’s belen figurine collection. The title of the prequel? 23k.
The gold bar in the middle is courtesy of Governor D.V. Savellano who gamely joined our merry endeavor.
“Oh, we need some gold bars.” I said.
Before we knew it, governor Savellano was bringing out a shiny Christmas card and cutting and folding it up into a bar. Voila! Production design by the governor of Ilocos Sur.
